We work with our clients to create concepts (awareness campaigns, new product launches, collection names, sustainability initiatives, etc.), social media posts, and new content for their websites (product copy, UI copy, scripts and onscreen text for videos, and SEO). We also write copy for emails and paid media campaigns, as well as long-form content for press releases, advertorials, sponsored blog posts, and even internal training materials.

Do you translate from English into other languages?

We’re based in London and most of our team are native English speakers. We translate into both UK and US English for a wide range of brands based in Europe and beyond. However, if you need to translate your content from English into another language for markets in Europe or Asia, we can recruit freelancers and work closely with them to localise your content.

What is transcreation?

A buzzword that has been circulating in the translation industry for a while. It’s technically a looser form of translation that involves adapting taglines and advertising copy. However, more often than not, it is used by translation agencies to upsell translation. All good translations should recreate the effect of the original content and find the best way of communicating your message to your target audience. It’s not an extra.

Do you offer multilingual SEO services?

We have extensive experience optimising websites for the US, Canada and the UK as well as Australia and New Zealand. We can optimise your content using existing keyword lists or carry out specific keyword research for your brand to boost your rankings.

If you need to optimise pages in other languages, we’ll work with trusted partners who are native speakers of the language and have specialist knowledge of SEO.

How much does it cost?

Whichever service(s) you choose, we’ll tailor our rates to your individual project so you only pay for what you need. Get in touch via our contact page to arrange a free consultation to discuss your needs and find out more about our personal and collaborative approach.

Why is it better to outsource translations?

We have over 10 years of experience working in different languages for a wide range of brands. We use translation memory software as well as the latest AI translation tools which help us to deliver high quality translations fast. This means you can free up your internal resources and concentrate on your core business, while saving you time and money in the process.

What is the benefit of working directly with writers and translators?

The translation industry is dominated by agencies that outsource translations for multiple sectors to a large pool of freelancers. Project managers often don’t speak the source and/or target languages and translators tend to work individually with little or no visibility of the end client’s brand or marketing strategy.

It’s a pretty impersonal approach to what should be a creative, collaborative process.

Whether our team is translating or writing your content, we work directly with you to develop your TOV and brand messaging so that you can establish credibility, develop a relationship with your customers, reach new audiences, and build a community around your brand.

Are you a translation agency?

No. We are multilingual writers and the majority of our work is taken care of in-house. We focus on providing copywriting services for international clients, but we also take care of translations, helping you save time and money by translating your existing content instead of starting from scratch.

How is working with Translation Pod different from working with a translation agency?

We’re different from a translation agency because we take care of most of our projects in-house. We have trusted freelancers we work with on larger projects or new language combinations that we don’t normally work in. Although the process of outsourcing is similar to how translation agencies work, we collaborate much more closely with our freelancers so that they are part of our team when we work on your content.
